Backend Engineer (Go)

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices and RESTful APIs using Go.
• Write efficient, concurrent code with Go routines and channels for high-throughput systems.
• Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) and message brokers (NATS, Kafka).
• Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Go.
• Strong understanding of concurrency patterns, HTTP/2, and gRPC.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the Engineering Manager and works closely with the Platform and Infrastructure teams.

Working Conditions
