Backend Engineer (C# / .NET)

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and .NET 8+.
• Work with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure services.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
• Write unit tests with xUnit and integration tests for reliable deployments.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure preferred) and containerisation (Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles is a plus.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Engineering Manager and works with the Platform and Product teams.
